A walking city although it is hilly but there are too many incredible alleways and hidden gems to find. Here was a walk along a river to get to the 2 modern are museums
There are 2 modern art museums but one is closed for the installation of a major exhibition. I went to number 1 while Connie went searching through the used clothing stores!

thanks for the pics of the work at the Scottish Modern — David Hockney never met a culture he could avoid appropriating. Love the architectural thread piece by the Korean artist Do Ho Su and Anthony Gormley’s bronze bust poking out of the ground. x
LOVED the consoling message (in neon no less) at the entrance to Modern One … of course with all our MAGA-Morons out and about I must reserve my right to disagree !
