Season’s Greetings
December 1, 2016

From us in the lower latitudes to those of you in the higher latitudes we send you some warmth. May you all have a great season of laughter, warmth and wonderful foods with friends and family.
We are leaving South Africa and heading to St. Helena for the holiday season. We hope to enjoy some Napoleon Brandy and hike the hills of St. Helena while contemplating Napoleon’s fate.
If you wish to follow our route from Cape Town to St. Helena then check us out here
I guess since we won’t be close to internet for a couple of months we should also wish everyone a HAPPY NEW YEAR.

Ok you 2,
This picture reminds me of that video that was so popular in1999 @ Xmas..It was a video of a fireplace with a burning log and every once in awhile you saw a hand go in and throw another log on the fire. Do you remember that? i think we were at the farm (Glen Rosa) trying to stay awake on Dec 31st, 1999 so we could watch the world come to an end as we knew it at midnight… nothing happened, just another log got thrown on the fire.
Know we love you and are looking forward to your next blog ++++
Annie B and Lornie D. ( we are gone on Saturday morning early)

OK, time to put that new hard dodger to the test – -may it be as warm and cozy as your fire picture.

Hi T & C. It is so very interesting to follow your exploits. Quite an amazing journey. I wish you both the very best for the coming holidays. Will expect a report back on confirmation as to how many steps on Jacobs ladder. Reportly there are 699, so you should probably run it several times to confirm. All the best. Cheers, Jon .
viajes seguros. mucho amor
Be well, Tony and Connie and have a wonderful next leg of your amazing journey. We’ll hoist a few in your honour over the holidays. Much love, J
Team Sage, set sail at 9am yesterday. 3 people on board. Tony, Connie and my hubby Gary.
Sage was packed to the brim, with food that could feed an army for a month and other beverages “wink, wink… Say no more” that would make a liquor store look silly. Tony, has one cupboard where the stash is kept, OMG it’s like a bottomless pit. As my eyes grew wider & wider, Tony kept on reminding me, IT’S ALL FOR THE CARIBBEAN. I left Sage that evening thinking Tony was going to open a Caribbean shebeen upon arrival. 🙂
After a quick bite to eat on Wednesday evening at the Cape Town water front, It was time to say goodbye. Goodbyes are never easy and when you’re a softy like me, it makes it a zillion times worse. Fighting back tears, with hugs and kisses, I said see you later and left.
I got a message from Gary late last night, they are going along nicely and all is well with them. Pls remember, they get charged for every character they receive and NEVER reply on a message they send out, always start a new mail.
I will update, when I receive messages.
Regards
Angela
Team Sage, arrived safely at St Helena Island this morning at 10am. Tracker has been switched off, so no communication until they get internet. Am looking forward to all the stories 🙂
