London: Trying to See Everything…
July 24, 2026
All the planning and pouring over literature on places and things to do in London come to virtually nought in the scheme of things. We tried, we walked, we talked, we planned and in the end we enjoyed but were exhausted.
Here are a few pictures of the places we went and scenes we saw after 8 days of pounding the sidewalks and humping ourselves on buses and tubes. A great time and would love to return once again.
No invite to Buckingham Palace for tea unfortunately.
Finally, I have internet enough to post an abbreviated post on London. Many clamoring voices asking for more so here you go.

Good to hear from you. All is well here. Nice and hot. Huge thunderstorm last night. Lots of lightening and noise but not much rain unfortunately. Peter had an idea. Let’s write to the Palace and see if they are interested in a home exchange. ?????????? Look after yourselves and party on Tania

Great photos. Of all the cities in the world, I grudgingly accept London because of Greenwich. An ultimate sailor’s pilgrimage. Can you leave a proxy vote for Binhead? Have fun. F
Great photos! Keep up that spirit of adventure, you two. Pop in on the way back. Loretta and Darrel xx.
