The Promised Land
Rosslaire, Ireland – we made it. The ship didn’t sink. It was an uneventful crossing made very easy from the virtually flat calm seas. We also couldn’t see a thing as the ship left at 0130hrs and arrived at daybreak. The chains were released and we were off.
First stop, Wexford. A failed attempt at trying to connect with a friends sister. With a lack of street address and a phone that was obiously not the correct one we had to move on and ended up in Waterford.

Onwards to Cork, Bantry, Kilarney, Dingle, Galway and Cong. From one day to the next we have no idea where we will end up. We hear of a special market, an event, an interesting walk or gallery or a good bakery. We are making this up as we go along. The only part of the adventure that is scripted is Achill Island . There we have a 4 night reservation at a caravan park otherwise we are going where the wind blows and there’s plenty of that.

I end this in a place called Cong. Just down the road from our caravan camp is Ashford Castle. For 7,000 Euros/night you can stay. We decided that was a little out of our budget so voted to have dinner there – ha, ha.
More to come….

BRILLIANT! Thank you.
So what is bringing all these campers to this site? Is there a beach nearby or what is the attraction?
Cheek by jowl parking and few amenities and no trees. Are there Leprechauns at least?
Move on guys!
I love the looks of your blue rig!! Lucky you 2,
